A Poem for my son

It seems like only yesterday I held you in my arms,
looking up at me with your loving blue eyes so warm.

Then you began to crawl,
before you know it you were up and into it all.

In a few more years you started school,
you were ready and willing to give it a try.
All the while, it took all I had not to cry.

How much I love you, you'll never know.
My joy in life is watching you grow.

My sons birthday is sunday so I wrote this on the card I made him.

  1. This is really good, I like it. I don't have any kids but I have lots of little cousins, I know that is not the same, but I still love them and love watching them grow. The grow up so fast. I swear one day they're little babies wanting held and the next day they're running around the house like little monkeys. Great Poem!
