My son's birthday party went well! It was our first holiday in our new home and I couldn't be happier. Its funny, my old home was small and I figured since we have moved to a bigger home there would be plenty of room. This did not turn out to be true. It actually seemed smaller when everyone showed up.
We sat and enjoyed each other's company and celebrated my son's birthday. After the cake and ice cream he opened his birthday presents. He got lots of Nerf guns and Legos. I think the adults had more fun with the toys than the children. We were all running around the back yard with colored vest and goggles on searching for our opponent. My sister was even wheeling our mom through the yard to chase down the grandchildren. This was definitely a day for the memory book!
