I have recently enrolled in an American Lit class. I have discovered that some of the greatest writers of all time, in my opinion. I started out reading, "The adventures of Huck Finn. I loved how real the story felt to me. Twain was great at setting the time and place for the story. His stories were full of adventure and history. The history of the story was one of my favorite parts of the story.
I actually took this class for 2 reasons. 1st it was recommended and 2nd I love learning about the past.My Great Grandmother wrote a book named, "They Don't Buy Me No Peanuts" She was one of the greatest women I knew. In her book she tells stories about her youth and the world then. These stories remind me a lot of her and her stories she told, but it was her real everyday life. What better why to learn than a story to go along with the history!
