Farewell American Lit
I must say and call me a nerd if you want to, this was my favorite class. This class has managed to make my reading so much more meaningful. It was not until this class that I even knew about symbolism. Now I can read a story and get the full effect of it. In my opinion, it takes some real talent to do even half half what we go to read. Reading these stories has allowed me to take a look into the past. I have learned so much about history and didn't even realize I was learning. I am looking forward to American Lit I the fall! See you this summer Mrs.Seimans.

Well I'm sure your not a nerd because I loved this class and that would make me a nerd to!! LOL This was my first Lit class and even though I loved to read, like you, I had no idea of things like symbolism, realism, naturalism. Now when I read I find myself looking for all the messages, meanings etc. It has opened my eyes so much to the written word! I find myself caught up in the history and characters and always leave a story eager for the next one. I know longer read just for the entertainment of it, I crave the knowledge that goes along with it!! Have a great summer and fall!
